Hadn't seen any talk about this around here, and not quite sure which forum to put this in, so I'll post it here...

Quick summary, Baltimore PD are conducting simunition training at an unsecured (and apparently unauthorized) facility with only two instuctors. One of the instructors insists on carrying his live weapon in addition to his sim gun because it's an unsecured location. The instructor mistakenly draws his live weapon and fires at a group of recruits to get their attention. The bullet strikes a recruit in the head, almost killing him.
According to the article, there were many warning signs before the shooting that this was an incredibly unsafe training environment. I hope I would have the sense to walk away from something like this before something bad happened.
