I was looking to identify a 9mm head stamp.

While searching I found the RUAG website and a little bit of info on there Deformation 9mm load.

Other than letting air out of tires or splash back ,ricochet what else can they be used for?

One the first page of there Deformation 9mm load -

One of there bullets looks some what like a Barnes solid copper HP and with a unique ( well to me ) plastic insert !

I also wonder if the Nosler SD loads will share the same type of plastic insert.

In urban areas, backsplashes and ricochets pose a significant risk to all parties involved.

Is that really true, or just something uninformed bureaucrats worry about?

What about the danger of missing the target which leads to backsplashes and ricochets?

Don't worry, it's OK if our guys miss, we got this special ammo that will only kill one innocent bystander per round...

Are there any groups that care about shooting out tires?

It looks like a clone of the 9mm German Police Training Round made by MEN.

Not too much was brought into the country IIRC. Great barrier blind load, but penetration is very deep. Not bad if worried about Kevlar or deflection. Super accurate, super clean.

Just one more for Bills comment:

ExtremeShock™ The World's Premier Anti-Terrorist Rounds! (http://www.extremeshockusa.com/cgistore/store.cgi?page=/new/product_info.html&setup=1&cart_id=8728942.7156)

I assume this this what TAM was talking about, it does come in a blister pack and is made of NyTrilium™ though I do not see any Ninja's on the packaging

A phenomenon I have noticed... (http://booksbikesboomsticks.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-phenomenon-i-have-noticed.html)

Then we have to get back to the thread topic

As we have discussed previously, numerous questions and warnings are yet again being bandied about regarding the new lightweight, high velocity lead free handgun ammunition line in question. These projectiles are traveling at a faster velocity than most LII vests are designed to stop. Over the past two decades, numerous service caliber loads have been sold that have been able to defeat soft armor, including some by Aguila and LeMas, as well as the Win 127 gr +P+. Same reason why some cheap steel core east block FMJ handgun caliber projectiles sometimes penetrates LII and LIIIa soft armor. Don't panic, the sky is not falling, there is nothing new going on. Keep in mind that this new ammunition is NOT barrier blind, has poor penetration capability, and does not meet minimum LE terminal performance guidelines.

Do you happen to know what grain the bullet is 9x19 Action 4 SXF

I do find the Action 4 SXF a interesting in design.

BTW

Do you have any more info on the Nosler SD loads with plastic insert. I'm curious about its design

I know I posted about the new nosler loads awhile back , and you said you going to test in the future.
I see commercials for the loads ,but never anything in stock.

I've seen cars drive on rims for a long distance.

I've seen cars missing an entire wheel drive for miles after doing so.

This RUAG bullet is more to do with the weird Euro anti JHP ideas than anything else. They are still trying to shoot people nicely over there.

Except for the French, they are using Gold Dots.
