Mmmm, sounds good. Benton's bacon is best I've had and absolutely sinfully good.

I would have to try it before I dismiss it. Pecan pie is my favorite as-is.

My wife makes a pecan/pumpkin pie that is really good served warm with a scoop of Breyer's vanilla ice cream.

A local restaurant makes a pecan/fig pie. Delicious, but even richer than normal pecan pie. Fortunately for me, the local gluten-free bakery makes a really killer key lime pie with a graham-crackery crust.

The one I had and crave was from Dixie Supply Bakery & Café (http://dixiecafecharleston.com/index.html)in Charleston, SC. Luckily, I'm heading back to Charleston later next week.

And yes Benton Bacon (http://shop.bentonscountryham.com/)is the best.

Will have to check it out. We have friends in Charleston and get down there fairly often.
