I'm looking for something that I can have a kydex sheath made for that will allow me to carry it in line with the belt or actually tucked under the belt, on my off hand side.

Thin grip, fixed blade, not too broad side to side with a solid blade thinkness. Something that's actually available to purchase without a 6 month to forever wait if possible.

Thanks!

What do you want to use it for? What size? Any preference of steel?

If you have an idea of what role and uses you have for it then it will be easier to make a recommendation.

Strider offers several different fixed blades, great knives for the money IMO

I have no personal experience with this one but it got my attention when I came across it the other day. Looks like it might fit the bill for what you're looking for. Comes with an IWB kydex sheath too.

ZT100 if its not too big. Zero Tolerance makes phenomenal knives.

I've heard good things about Grayman but have no personal experience. Just thought I'd through another made in USA product line out there.

I like the Cold Steel Spike. You can find them for about half of the MSRP. When reality sets in, it will do what you need it to do.

If you are looking for something sexy, or expensive, this knife will NOT fit the bill.

Based on other's recommendations:

Ka-bar TDI
Clinch Pick
H.A.K. Hide Away Knife

I haven't had the chance to try any yet myself personally, but they all could fit your bill.

Since I already have the RCS kydex for it, I plan to try this one out pretty soon.

Go to www.knivesshipfree.com and browse in the Bark River Knives section. IMO, Bark River makes the best production, semi-custom knife out there right now. They have a vast selection of quality EDC fixed blades. The STS3 and STS5 are two to name a few. The guy that runs that sight is a great guy and will treat you right. Plus, Bark River has a no questions asked lifetime warranty. When I say no questions asked, I mean it. I used mine as a nail one time and smashed the grip panels with an E-Tool, they took it back and fixed it, polished it, and resharpened it for free.

Chris Reeve has a few nice selections in the fixed blade arena as well.

Indeed, but we're talking some substantial coinage for a CR blade......

If you have sheath making ability, the cold steel roach belly (http://www.coldsteel.com/roachbelly.html) fills that bill.
Stock sheath should be thrown in the fire pit.

Not sure how much you are wanting to spend, but I like the EK knives for fixed blade fighters. Seem to fit your specifications.
