New York City's plan to ban large sugary drinks from restaurants and other eateries was an illegal overreach of executive power, a state appeals court ruled on Tuesday, upholding a lower court decision in March that struck down the law.

People were probably more pissed off about having to get up for a 2nd Coke while watching reality TV, rather than anything to do with self-determination.

I know....I know.....I'm killing the mood. :p

Well it warms my heart to know that the younger generations have picked up the mantle of curmudgeonly-ness and are diligently at work. :thumbup:

Ahhh... Cary, NC. aka: Containment Area for Relocated Yankees. An area I avoid as much as humanly possible. I left NY to get away from those people. The only place around here AFAIK more liberal than Cary is the Chapel Hill area. Yuck!
