WASHINGTON -
"It was crazy. Beyond our control," says the manager of the King Convenience store in the 1500 block of U Street in Southeast D.C.

He says a flash mob of teens stole candy, soda and other items from his store Saturday night.

"Bunch of kids, more than 20 or 30, grabbed everything," he says, asking not to be identified. "They grabbed everything and then ran away from the store."

Really...don't they know that stealing is illegal? If you make something illegal it can't happen - just ask the gun control nuts.

Step 1: call police and tell them you're going to do a flash mob event at the local 7-11 in 90 minutes.

Step 2: do whatever people do to initiate a flash mob at the local 7-11 in 90 minutes.

Step 3: watch police catch flash mobbers.

Step 4: repeat as necessary.

It probably won't be as cool if folks know there's a decent chance it's just a setup to get arrested.

Had to laugh a a couple comments about the article, but this was better than most:

"Stop handing out Obamaphones; it's hard to have a flash mob when everyone is at home waiting for the landline to ring."

I love how the "If Obama had a _____ it would look like that" comment is becoming a staple of the internet.
