I am personal friends with the owner of Jones Tactical who is based out of Atlanta. This is something he came up with to deal with the issue of sling management when utilizing a rifle/carbine in the front seat of a vehicle. It allows your sling to be held tight and keeps it from getting snagged/caught on anything during the initial deployment and to run the sling you just pull it out. The left over bungee area doesn't affect my grip and I have been shooting with it for a bit. This one on my SBR is Mod 0 and a few other guys who do the good work have them. I figured I would put this out there for you guys to see and if you have any feedback. If you would like one as they become available email Richard Jones at info@jonestactical.com, let him know you are LEO or MIL by sending from gov address or credentials and state it in the e-mail and you get moved to the front of the line, civilians can get them too ;) . These should run $25 w/priority shipping in black, coyote brown, and OD.

A bunch of my guys use black hair ties in a similar manner. This would be far more manly and tactical though.

Yes that was my previous method, my wife had some brown ones I stole lol. That and or rubber bands were being used but then he came up with this idea and its alot better and smoother to pull the sling out for use.
