Okay, there's the preview. I'll put together some video and more pictures to post later this evening.

Is it a DD ISR? If so, I didn't know they made those with a fun switch.

After reading many of your posts this one has given me the urge to immediately quit my job, move to Georgia and beg your Sheriff to hire me.

There is precendent as one forum member here has walked towards the light and will start with us in August. I'll leave it to him as to whether or not he discloses who it is.

Your department is woefully ill prepared to cut off threats from Maryland criminals before they reach your borders. Just sayin' ...

Daniel Defense and Clyde Armory (http://www.policeguns.com) came by to do rifle demo today. It just so happens that AAC called last night to inquire about demoing products as well.

This was a LE counter sniper package offered by Daniel Defense. It is still available as a custom order.

M-240B as a patrol carbine.

(A) Because you know you want to.

(B) Because it's Georgia! :D

That must be one lucky guy, wonder who it could be? I heard he has some awesome stippled M&P's and some cool rifles though.

The term isn't stippled. It's mutilated.

Heh. That was my first thought, too.

The other stuff? Meh. You seen one go-fast gun, you seen 'em all. ;)

Blackout ammo seems to be finally hitting the shelves again. My local range had a fair amount of Remmington 220s the other day.

My favorite part may have been where someone so eloquently pointed out to the boss, "that lack of a ding was a miss, boss".

Ummm, yeah, so what crap assignment does he have now for next week? :D

Seriously, that does look like a fun demo day from the good dudes at Clyde's, DD, & AAC. We're lucky to have all of them "local" to us.

If it had a brass water jacket, my interest might be piqued. :D

Clyde Amory has some pictures and videos from the shoot up on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/policeguns?hc_location=stream).

They also have an album of pictures from a training session. That is my previous agency in those pictures.

I'm starting to realize the magnitude of my error in not stopping by Clyde Armory when I was out there earlier this year :o

Dude, somebody's had a "Bulldog Gatling" at the last few Indy 1500s and it is all I can do to walk past the thing and not throw my arms around it and put up a fuss like a five-year-old in a Toys 'R' Us.:o

I think the 240B makes a better counter sniper option than the DD rifle.

As one of my Army buds used to say, "I need to party with you..."
