Now that's a cool little revolver.

I wish they made that gun in an Airweight.

No kidding. Why S&W resists putting real sights on their revolvers is beyond me.

+1. Still a sexy beast.

Mine shoots low. Any ideas? I think it was with 130 grain FMJ .38s and 125 grain +p .38s.

Trijicon night sights are standard.
2 1/8" barrel and cut for moon clips as well.

A file...

With Winchester 130 FMJ mine shoots "to the dot" out to 25 yards.
With Winchester Ranger-T 130gr. +P JHP it shoots to the top of the front sight.
So it basically shoots the FMJ about 2" lower than the hotter JHP at 25 yards.
A file won't work because of the tritium insert in the front sights.

Almost every fixed sight .38 S&W has ever made is regulated for 158gr ammo.

Too bad this is 2013 and 130-135gr. ammo is the standard.

As my daughter is so fond of saying, "I know, right?".

Although I think the factories could get a lot of effect out of hitting their 158gr LSWCHP bullets with the same sort of cavity die they would use in say an HST bullet.

+1

All 7 of my fixed sighted S&W 38/357 are POA/POI = 158gr

The 148WC is pretty darn close

I wish Federal would make a 147 HST +P

Like the old +P+ 147 hyrdashok

I don't care for the 130/135gr Bonded although I carry them in a speed loader or sometimes a speed strip.

I'm telling you, 158gr lead bullet like they use for the LSWCHP, except in the shape of the bullet used for the 135gr Gold Dot loading, form the hollow point with the same sort of die they use for the HST, use Nyclad instead of a copper jacket. That would be a winner.

Very cool. How do you carry it? I assume it's a bit heavy for pocket carry?
