I'm looking for recommendations for a good holster for a Ruger LCP in .22.

Now, before you jump down my throat, I know that isn't an optimal set up for defensive use, but I'm trying to help someone out with some training and a holster, and the .22 Ruger is what they have, so it is what it is.

I'm open to suggestions, but I'm leaning towards a pocket holster of some sort.

Thanks in advance!

I've been happy with the Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. Do note that the Nemesis has a flat bottom and may not work well with tapered or rounded pockets. For $20 and no wait, it is certainly an option.

Uh...

Yes, that is what I meant.

What was I thinking when I typed LCP....?

I like the TUFF pocket holsters.

If I were teaching someone to shoot, and using their first holster, I'm not sure I'd start with a pocket holster.

I agree. Its not my first choice, but... I'm at a loss. I'm all ears though, as to what you'd recommend.

Use a holster other than a pocket holster, like an IWB or OWB. I'm sure there are a few out there.
