My apps for the 4S........

Itunes of course....

Accuweather
BulletDrop (generic, so-so ballistic calculator)
Archer soundboard
Bank
American Airlines (download boarding passes to my phone, check flight status, etc)
Flashlight (turns camera flash into flashlight)
Geico (Insurance cards on my phone)
Pandora (radio)
QR Reader (scans the bar code promos)
Bump (allows file transfer by bumping phones)
Lookout (lets me see my phone on Google maps if lost, and will ring it, even if it was set to vibrate)

Theodolite,
Pandora,

Kindle,
Shot timer (for dry drill pars; IME it's pretty useless for live fire),

Yelp is my go-to for good food in a place I don't know.

Me too, but I run it on my iPad because that's my go-to for mapping. I don't even have it loaded on my phone.

Me three on Yelp. I like Around Me also. Ditto the free Sequoia time app for syncing the time on my watches. Have to check out the Archer one Sean mentioned.

More refined list:

Google Maps (the Apple alternative blows)
Camera+
PhotoForge2
Photobucket
Facebook
Facebook Pages
LinkedIn
Gmail (official Google app)
Google Authenticator
TapaTalk2
MapQuest
Chome
iHeartRadio
ESPN
Fandango
HBO (if you have HBO the app is amazing)
Verizon Fios DVR Manager (a must if you have Fios)
Dropbox
Google Drive
Capital One 360 (use one of their accounts to send checks instead of PayPal for high dollar transactions)
PNC Mobile (bank)
Evernote
Kindle app
SMS Faces (if you need troll faces in text messages)
Bandintown

And by far the most useful has been the Amazon app. It is even worse if you have Prime. Insane.

For Twitter I find the built in app is adequate for what I need to do.

Wait!!!!

An Archer sound board app? Can I get that for Android?

I was about to head out to the store for a new cell phone. This very well may change my mind and force me to spend money I don't have on a new iPhone.

This is just the tip.

My most used apps:

-Google Maps
-Weather Channel
-Tapatalk
-Surefire Shot Timer (works surprising well)
-JotNot Pro - you may have no need for this but I use it a ton. It's basically a scanner app where you can take a picture of a document, it processes it to look like a scan and then you can email it, fax it or save to cloud storage right from your phone. I have to do expense reports for work and I can take pictures of my receipts and email them from anywhere.
-Audible - I'm an audio book junkie, requires an audible.com account.
