The recoil on that 40mm pistol mentioned in the pic must be brutal!!!!

In our class, Ken Hackathorn told a few of us that Bill Wilson told him that to properly keep your sub 4.25" 1911s running well they needed a recoil spring change - oh about every 300 rds or so. I was like WTF???
