Great video-haven't gotten through it, but the 8-10 minute mark highlights the problem we have today and he happens to be a great speaker:

Basically a recap of his book. It was a good read if you haven't already.

That book is headed to the big screen. Mark Wahlberg to play Marcus. So I've heard or read somewhere.

A "MOVIE TRAILER" I MADE FOR AN ENGLISH PROJECT ON THE BOOK THE LONE SURVIVOR BY NAVY SEAL MARCUS LUTTRELL ABOUT THE EVENTS ON JUNE 25TH, 2005 IN THE HINDU KUSH MOUNTAINS.

IOW's complete piece of fantasy.

The trailer has a completely different cast than IMDB. Trailer shows Jim Parrack as Luttrell, but IMDB shows Wahlberg. Same for all 4 SEALS. Curious.

If it is played by Wahlberg, I can assure you I won't be going to see it. That Anti Gun piece of shit (Wahlberg) isn't getting another penny from me...

The one I posted was some fan generated thing that has nothing to do with the actual movie. Thanks for the heads up.

I'll definitely see it. There just haven't been enough movies made about our guys yet. And I figure it may help feather the author's nest.

I rented "Pathfinders" a couple of weeks ago. What a crappy movie about a great subject. I'd like to see that one done right as well.

That nest doesn't need feathered.............he has all the money he will ever need.

And I would imagine, from past experience, any money that goes to him will most likely be passed on the families of those who died during the operation.

I just hope they don't fuck it up........but the pessimist in me says they will.

How much you wanna bet the Hollywood version omits any positive references to Christianity but keeps the part where he feigns converting to Islam.

Well then, even better reason to see the film for me anyway.
