Grips

I am thinking of upgrading my grips on my p226 rtss to either e2 grips or black g10 piranha grips. What do you all think?

I read that the e2 grips require an some changes such as the decocking lever (no problem replacing it - I broke down my gun after I got and now how to replace it). I also remember reading that some other parts need to be changed. How do I know if I need to change anything else?

I have read problems of people over tightening their grip screws and stripping the the grip screw holes. I have a steel frame so that is not a problem for me but I am wondering what the proper torque would be.

Is there something you're trying to fix by going to the E2 grip, or are you just looking for a change?

No. I have the hogue rubber grips right now and they are nice. However, they beef up the grip a a lot and I would like to slim it down a bit.

The factory grips would slim it down a bit compared to the Hogues.
