I was talking to Templar yesterday and I was trying to tell him about the videos with the big guy that wears the muscle shirt and gloves , and I can't find them who is it?I wasn't sure where to put this I wouldn't really call it training, so if this is the incorrect place feel free to move it.I think he was shooting a .50 1911 and doing like karate chops and stuff at the same time.

In the past few years I have seriously come to hate the word "tactical". It is the most overused word in the history of firearms. It would be tactical to not use the word tactical in your tactical tactics, tactically speaking.

Tactically yours,

Tact T. Tacterson

What in the hell is "tactical fitness?" Is it doing PT while wearing MOLLE gear?

It involves wearing a headband, sunglasses, facial stubble, shorts over sweatpants, a tank-top, sweating profusely with random screams of pain while listening to this song:

The big muscle tactical guy should get together with Sensei Jeff and have hilarious tactical ninja babies. For those not up to speed on Sensei Jeff, here he is in 4 parts.

Lessons from Sensei Jeff (http://gunnuts.net/2010/10/08/lessons-from-sensei-jeff/)
Sensei Jeff gets you shot in the face (http://gunnuts.net/2010/10/11/sensei-jeff-gets-you-shot-in-the-face/)
Sensei Jeff on how to get shot in the spine (http://gunnuts.net/2010/10/12/sensei-jeff-on-how-to-get-shot-in-the-spine/)
Sensei Jeff gets you shot in the face again (http://gunnuts.net/2010/10/13/sensei-jeff-gets-you-shot-in-the-face-again/)

Sensei Jeff is my probably my all time favorite.

That's what we like to refer to as "Tactistub", it hearkens back to bygone days of yesteryear and Miami Vice. It can be seen though in modern times, only a select brave few can pull it off. (See Brett Favre)

The fact that there are people out there naive enough willing to pay this character to train them is a bit.... disturbing.

Dude charges like $300 for a 2 and a 1/2 hour "training session". WTF?

Also, he looks like a pro-wrestler from 1981.

Not a bad price considering you get three months of "horse and cattle" shots for free...only side effect is hairy butts

Plus the pleasure of shooting with the Macho Man Randy Savage's little brother. I wonder if he drops an, "OHHHH YEEEEAAAA BROTHER" after he makes good hits?

Have you priced .50 GI ammo? Buying enough ammo to film that clip probably cleaned out his bank account. The shaving budget for the month may have had to take one for the team.

Have you factored in that it is .50, so you only need one shot?

Miami Vice was single-handedly responsible for my very first carry gun being a 10mm. I couldn't find a Bren 10 or a S&W 1006, so I got a Glock 29. And it was AWESOME.

I was sorely disappointed when I found out that real vice work had nothing to do with driving Ferraris, wearing custom suits, having co-workers that looked like Gina, and that shooting a bad guy took more than 10 minutes to deal with.

I had a similar experience with JAG. I was very disappointed when I found out that Navy lawyers don't fly F-14s, don't foil international terrorism plots, and don't have co-workers that look like this (http://www.wallpaperbase.com/wallpapers/celebs/catherinebell/catherine_bell_8.jpg).

wow that is an insane amount of photoshop going on there. pretty rough too, look at the hands and the line of her back towards her butt. It looks like she bathed in foundation.

As I get my mind right before a string of fire I yell, "Yeah buddy! Front sight! Wooooo! Yeah buddy! Tight groups!". I get some funny looks between the yelling and the MC Hammer pants, but results don't lie.

R. Coleman is no joke. 8x Mr. Olympia. And he was a cop for 12ish years somewhere in Texas iirc.

Along the same subject line, I took this photo of Lou Ferrigno back in about 1979 / 80 signing autographs when he was still playing The Hulk. He was very nice, you had to speak up really loud though.

You're correct on both counts. At about 2:00 in he talks about being a cop. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IG9Vszxm9l4&NR=1 Coleman & Tyson must've gone to the same speech classes.

Will I get bounced from the forum if I admit that I took a class with him, probably 12 years ago or so? It was one of the first training classes I ever took and as best I can recall the class wasn't that bad.

What was bad were the security guards in the class, none of who brought a gun that would run and the class was spent trying to make them work. He did have some cool props, like one of the 3-D robots and for what I paid, it wasn't terrible. With that said, I've never put that class on my training resume.

At Toys R Us today, I saw some bad ass TactiStubble out of the corner of my eye. I almost jumped behind the Legos for cover, then I realized that Legos can't stop a 50!!! I looked more closely at the threat while I moved to draw, then I realized that it was just a TactiStubble Ken doll - and a dead ringer for the object of the OP. Compare:
