The first two episodes this season didn't really click for me until I'd watched them more than once (though the Bob's Burger tie-in episode 1 was hilarious). From a replay value, though, I have to say they're better than a lot of stuff from previous seasons.
Legs was definitely excellent from start to finish, though admittedly the Blade Runner reference won it a million points from me.

Yep. Got it. I've never actually watched one of the movies, but in the days of actual video stores (VHS to boot) I remember seeing them on the shelf.

Agreed. I finally watched the episode last night. Even with diminished expectations, it just seemed forced. Not sure how to word it, but it seemed like instead of having an Archer episode with Anthony Bordain, they made one around him and the reality restaurant show concept? As I find hm to be pretty much an egotistical tool, for me the best part was when Katya dropped Bordain out of the helicopter.

I actually like Bourdain. My wife about flipped out when I asked her if she recognized the voice. It was one of the weaker episodes, but not horrible.

Perhaps I'm just easily amused, but I thought it was funny. My wife watches all those Food Network shows so the mere fact it was a spoof earned points with me. Some of the jokes got a little overplayed (like "ostriches" from the first episode this season) but all in all I thought it was good. Admittedly, to date I think the only episode I didn't like was the Burt Reynolds one... and that primarily because they took a fantastic opportunity and let it go to waste.

Last night's episode was much better except for shooting handguns out of people's hands with an M82 Barrett. Guess that's not as bad as the left side ejecting M1A in Bloody Ferlin.....

Unfortunately it doesn't have anything from season 4 and in particular it doesn't have Archer's new ring tone from S4/E2 (at about 12:30). I can't find it online anywhere (or at least on any website my computer will let me visit without warning flashes and alarms). Anyone have better luck? It's an electric guitar instrumental of Highway to the Danger Zone.

Not sure what I'm going to do once I finish Season 3 (as this season isn't on Netflix).
