View Full Version : S&W 651-1 Value?
A friend of mine sent me a picture of one of his revolvers, and wanted to see if I could give him a ballpark value for it. After doing a little research, I've seen them go for anywhere between $500-$900. I know Jack-Spit about wheel guns, so I'm turning to you guys.
S&W 651-1, 4" Stainless
S/N CBDxxxx
22 Magnum (22 M.R.F. CTG)
Unknown round count, but very low & in excellent condition.

Hit the auction sites and see what that model is going for - the market determines value. :)

Thanks. Yeah, most of the $500-$900 price range I found was on auction sites. I saw one go private party for $500 in some forum marketplace, but I also saw an auction that closed at almost $900, both sometime last year. I don't always trust auction sites, because a lot of times the selling prices are a little inflated, and online auction value vs private party value has always been quite a bit different in my experience.
I don't think it would stay on the market long at $500. Classic S&Ws other than the super high volume models like 4" model 10s are just expensive as heck.
