Miss America (Miss New York) - Don't fight violence with violence.

My wife and I tuned into the Miss America pagent last night in time to hear Miss New York say that you shouldn't fight violence with violence.

Not all of her answer was bad, gun education is good.

Gun education and gun classes? Good! The other two statements... I wouldn't fault her for having them.

However am I allowed to fight violence as my brother's keeper and finder of lost children, by striking down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger at those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers?
