He's a member of the liberal elite, so of course he's exempt from following the law.

If any one of us got caught with one in DC we'd be insta-felons...

I believe it's a misdemeanor, not a felony.

...But I get your point.

I didn't see the video. From the still I can't tell if the follower is in the body or not. If it's just a mag body, is that verboten in DC? I should know living so close, but I avoid DC at all costs.

I was lead to believe it's a felony for the gun and for each round of ammunition.

In the name of destroying our constitution, they are exempt under the 1st and 4th amendments according to liberals, right? He didn't know that the magazine was in his hand, the producer told him to hold it and the teleprompter told him to read it, he didn't actually write that piece...maybe he was entrapped. Damn, these laws are so complicated

Laws are for the little people, who must be kept in line and cannot be trusted to be guided by their finer feelings.

In case you want to see how LaPierre stood up against David Gregory.

This is a 23 minute auto start video:

ETA: Best part was David Gregory saying 'feelings aren't facts'...OH THE HUMANITY!!

ETA: brain fart on link. Too much multitasking today.

BaiHu, the link to ruger's website did not have a video. Did anyone else have this problem or is it because I'm on my phone? Also, typically felonies are crimes that carry a jail sentence longer than a year. So, just reading the cited language of the statute this seems to be a misdemeanor. However, I did not do any research beyond reading the article which qualifies me to work at most large news outlets.

Ironic, they want to create even more laws but yet can't obey the current law. Hypocrites.

His children also go to a school with eleven armed guards.

His children also go to a school with eleven armed guards.

Don't forget the armed Secret Service detail, either.

Gregory's kids go to the same private school as the President's daughters. Methinks there would be a slightly quicker armed response to that school, than to the ones my children attended. Of course, it would not have been a USSS Counter Assault Team that showed up, either.

Once more, it's do as I say, not as I do. He simply knows what is good for us, and we should meekly obey like good children. Be good subjects.

Two counts of possessing a large-capacity ammunition feeding device in the District of Columbia and one count of Not Being David Gregory (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/jan/4/if-youre-not-david-gregory/#.UOs895apW19.twitter).

We don't need new or harsher laws, we need to prosecute those who break the law seriously. Owning higher cap mags (randomized by state) in some states can get you up to 10 yrs in jail IIRC, even if you legally purchased them at one point, but stealing and possessing stolen firearms only costs you 27 months...that makes sense?

Then I guess the lesson here is: Only steal guns with "high capacity" (to use the media's BS terminology) magazines. (Or should I say "clips" for consistency with the MSS message?)

Go Legal Insurrection:

According to Professor Jacobson: “The documents being withheld will help shed light on the details of this highly publicized non-prosecution, which raised issues as to whether well-connected and famous D.C. insiders were treated as any other citizen in a similar situation. I appreciate Judicial Watch assisting in this search for the truth.”

Update: documents released. Looks like the producers asked the DC police for permission. The DC police said no. The show did it anyway.
