What did they expect from an NFL audience? The only way Costas could have provoked a stronger negative reaction would be if it were a pro bass fisherman or a NASCAR driver who'd done the deed.

And wouldn't folks like Costas just looooove it if those rednecks lived up to their stereotypes?

The 'roid juiced super stars are the problem children, but there's too much money at stake to point that out.
