This was/is my first real, true, ultra-accurate, dedicated predator rifle. A genuine Dan Cooper (not Cooper Arms) M38 Repeater w/ upgraded Bastogne wood.

Perfect little farm gun. Deadly out to 150yrds on 'yotes and 'chucks. Chambered in 22CCM (soon to be 17CCM), and shoots 37g Calhoon bullets into the 6s all day long. Leup. 12x fixed scope. Fun little stalking gun. IMO, only Cascade Arms made better varmint guns.

Sorry for the non-tactical rifle thread.

We really, really need to hang out.

I'm going to get irrational here and say that there's nothing like a good bolt gun. Even in this day and age of 7.62 gas guns.

I couldn't agree more. My first rifle was a Marlin .22lr bolt gun that I wish I still had. So many cans fell at my hands ;)

Ever see something you probably don't need, but absolutely want?

This rifle fits that category for me. That's some really, really nice wood.

Thanks for posting the pics, they really made me smile.

Pretty much everything Mr. Riehl posts a picture of would fit this description for me :p
