Good deal or perfumed pig? The basic Chambers upgrade would be cheaper but also retains factory internals.

Based on my knowledge of Ed Brown 1911's and S&W M&P pistols, I would say their work on the Prodigy probably results in a pretty good gun.
Whether that product is a "good deal" is a tough call. It's about $100 or so less than the cost of a similarly equipped Staccato and about $400 more than a Dan Wesson DWX.

That looks amazing. Wonder what that finish is.

Ed Browns Gen 4 (their version of a spray and bake).

I think you'd be better off with a Staccato for that. Call around and find one for less than MSRP. Would save the weirdness if any warranty issues arose as well.

Yeah I like EB stuff, but I would go with a Staccato over Brown for that kind of money. Plus I can drive right up the road and get the Staccato, and the same if I needed it worked on.

I'll add to the echo chamber.
I could get in my car and in fifteen minutes be walking into Ranier Arms and buying a Staccato for that money.

No idea, but Staccato does.

TXPOYes. And also includes some extra mags and an optics plate with each LE gun. I don't know if EB will push the Prodigy as an LE product but they'll have to add some goodies to make this competitive
