I have a G22 Gen 3 RTF2 that was my first issued duty gun and I bought it free rom the dept when we went Gen4.

It’s not as enjoyable to shoot in .40 as my M&P 40 is.

Just wondering if the 9mm conversion barrels in general, have gotten good enough to trust for carry after vetting with running a bunch of ammo through them.

I thought about buying a new upper but then I’m back at most of the price of another gun.

Executive Summary-No

IIRC both the extractor and the ejector should be changed to maximize reliability.

Juice v squeeze, odds v stakes.

If you want to practice with a conversion barrel, fine.

I tend to avoid get me done solutions in matters of life and death.

YMMV greatly.
