Testing out my new Kustom Ballistics checkering fixture on an older Colt Delta Elite.
Before someone says it, yes, I know I could have just used an indexing head. And yes, I have several indexing heads.

I went and looked at their fixture. To get 25 LPI, do you just use both sets of holes?

Nope, separate set of indents for 20, 25, and 30.
It's a nice fixture. It lacks a bit of rigidity, but if you go slow, you're fine.

Yes, but you can use it for serrations and other patterns as well.

That is pretty cool.
One of these days I am going to build a desktop CNC.
Or...a customer of mine bought an old Bridgeport that had been converted to CNC. He is having trouble with the old electronics and I'm hoping it becomes available.

Careful with those. I'm not sure the refit kits included zero backlash lead screws. W/o that, you'll have crap finish half the time.

Good to know and would also depend on where the position feedback is attached.
