I’m personally thankful for PF, and the generally civilized discourse that makes this place distinct from the vast majority of similar discussion spaces in our area of interest. I am glad that we have it.

I didn't recognize her wearing clothes. I saw a lot of her on shop calendars in the 60's.

I'm at my mom's, and she has a 70-some year old neighbor in her retirement home who is an asylee from Donestk, so we had her over. Unfortunately not all of her family was able to escape prior to being forcibly conscripted by the Russians. Heartbreakingly sweet old lady that has seen way too much in her life.

Hope she had a good time and was able to relax a little. I still worry about my grown kids and grandkids and I know where they are, can not imagine just not knowing. There are a lot of folks in her shoes, thinking of them all for a moment.
