This leaves pretty limited vocabulary to describe my today's score of 350..

74, 9 shots on paper
75 (32, 43) 9 shots on paper
50 (37, 13) 3 off paper on second run
82, 9 shots on paper
69, 8 shots on paper.

Timed shots - from aiwb, P30/shaggy.
Hopefully, this was just a bad day.

Tried to shoot my way into mediocrity today - no love. 390.
81,
69, two off paper
67, two off paper

Can't get into 400s with 10% of shots missing the scoring rings altogether. Effin anticipation.

Shot this cold today first thing upon getting out to the range....

*Start position: "Ready Gun"/High ready for each string

*Gear: Gen4 G34, Sevigny comp rear/10-8 fiber optic front. Fedral/AE 124gr FMJ.

Scores:

#1: 97 (3x)

#2: 88

#3: 89 (2x)

#4: 80

#5: 60 (Doh!)

*Total: 414

Definitely need to work on my support hand shooting/trigger control. Im getting perfect sight alignment/front sight focus but I just cant seem to pull the trigger without jerking all of my shots down & right. I also went way too fast on #3 (4.60 & 5.14). I could have picked up a few extra points if I used my time better. Really good drill which has shown me exactly what I need to work on.

Shot cold
G17 RTF AIWB Concealed with el cheapo blazer aluminum ammo

1. -7
2. -8
3. -13
4. -21
5. -6

445/500

Worst strong hand only string I have shot in a while ! Really cracked off the first 4 and that ate the majority of those points. Also not really happy with -7 two handed, but so long as Im over 90 cold I can live with it. Nice set for a cold skills evaluation, but Im not sure I really have the patience for 10 shot strings slow fire 1 handed too often, although with -21 in there Im planning on doing more reps dry fire one handed this week and repeating just that string next weekend.

M&P9 FS, shot strings 2 and 3 from the holster, but not concealed.

1. 88-4x
2. 87-1x
3. 85-1x
4. 86-1x
5. 82-2x

Total: 428-9x

I wonder when Apex will have their good M&P barrel available so I can buy some points ;) I guess I will have to dry fire more until then.

Gen4 G17 from low ready:
1: 88, 2x
2: 88, 2x
3: 90, 1x
4: 63, 0x (ugly)
5: 76, 1x (8 in a nice group and 2 completely off paper)

Total: 405, 6x

Needed to slow down and make better use of the time on string 2. I have noticeably more wobble shooting SHO than WHO or FS; need to work on stance to correct it.

Wilson CQB from high ready

1: 96
2: 88
3: 90
4: 88
5: 79

Final Score: 441

Not pleased with a sub 450, but was really pleased, if not surprised, by how well I did WHO. Feel like it may have been more of a fluke. I like this drill as an assessment of precision on demand. Really lets me know where to possibly re-focus my efforts.

G17U w/RMR02 carried LH AIWB in a Fricke Seraphim from under a Northface soft shell firing Fed AE9FP 147 gr FMJ.

Note, unfortunately I am currently in a cast for a recent right (my normal strong hand) wrist injury. I shot sections 1-4 left handed (my normal weak hand) and shot section 5 with my Glock duct taped to my right hand cast.

95-2x
95-4x (in time)
89-0x (in time)
92-1x
87-1x

458-8x

Well the cast is keeping me from gripping the pistol, so I adapted and figured out a way to finish the drill...
