I remember being in a public bathroom stall years ago and noticing a blood clot on the end of a roll of toilet paper. I cut it out with my handy-dandy clot cutter-outer, flushed it away, and drove on. But if the roll had been turned the other way, who knows what diseases might have been spread.

Unreal. Hard to see a realistic way to put these fuckers in jail for this potentially deadly act, but I'd be glad if it happened.

A few years ago, all these sharps containers suddenly appeared all over in the building that I used to teach in out at the state place. I noted it here, back in the day. I found out that it was because a janitor got stuck emptying garbage, and the shit rightfully hit the fan. Needles are the main issue that gives lie to the phrase “victimless crime” when it comes to injectables. Leave that shit in public—especially parks and playgrounds, and that’s the opposite of victimless.
