Just sent the little guy off to the Stan, he'll be in a Combat Out Post over there ( maybe)
Dam glad he got to train with some of the guys I've brought in!!!!!!!

I'll see him this time next year!!!!

Give 'em Hell!!!!!!!

Safe travels and good hunting! Glad to hear he's dialed in. I've got a 22 and 19 year old tracking that direction too.
As far as I'm concerned this is the Greatest Generation 2.0.

I've read that 70% of those who served in the military in WW II were drafted. These are 100% volunteers. I love them all. They are truly glorious.

Ditto. I started with the Army in the mid '70's, so I have a bit of a long view of things. Folks going in for the last ten years knew they were going to a fight. I was originally in a training Army, not a fighting Army.
