BUG pocket in Safariland Oregon City or Bothell carrier

Just got an Oregon City carrier and was curious if anyone uses the BUG pocket they have, and if so, with a revolver or small auto?

Been using an Oregon City carrier for about 8 yrs now. Early on, tried using the BUG pocket with a snub .38 and also small Glocks. It does not work very well and the gun wants to fall out when you doff the carrier.

We have a bunch of our folks using these carriers and I know of none who use the BUG pocket.

For BUG I carry a G42 in a BFG ultracomp holster in the front support side pocket in my uniform trousers, and prefer this method to all others.

It seems a little flimsy, that’s why I figured I’d ask to see if I was missing something. Otherwise I love this carrier. Well I guess I better I had to wait almost 3 months for it to come in. Lol
