This looks like a leadership and accountability failure from the top down.
If you're going to do stupid shit downrange, do it on the down low. Don't videotape it and put it online.
Also, if the situation became too unbearable, simply find another gig. As a former 18D (presumably with a clearance), it's not like it would have been terribly difficult for the guy to find another contract.
