HK45C...is it possible to do a DA/SA only (decocker only conversion)

Hey,

I was thinking about putting together a nice carry HK .45c....


1. HD sights
2. Grey Guns short reset
3. Slim slide levers
4. DA/SA Decocker only
5. Flat mag pad

I have owned several HK45c, DA/SA and LEM. But I cant recall if a decker only DA'SA variant is available. It this a possible setup?

It sure looks like it. I'd call HK USA and ask them to make sure and then order the V3 detent plate. They also sell a specific decocker-only lever if the markings on your original lever bothers you.

I went the opposite direction on my USP Expert as I found I was accidentally decocking the pistol when shooting fast in matches.

Heck yes! Unbelievably, I have one of those plates in my parts box. I swapped my USP .45s to decocker only. Then a buddy of mine bought my spare and wanted the standard safety so I kept the 3+4 plate. Yay for pack-rats!
