Didn't see a rimfire pic thread, figured I'd start off a thread...

Grabbed this photo online Hamerilli Xesse IPSC model. Mine has a custom 2 stage trigger by the guy who used to import them. Front sight has three sides, each side gives you a different thickness blade. Actually ran several hundred rounds through it today before getting rained out. SV ammo only.

Oh, yes please, I’d like to participate.

The apple of my rimfire revolver eye, a blued Bisley Single Six, offered for the audience’s appreciation:

So a question- does a single action have a “better side”? I think the upper pic, with the open holes of cylinders, might be a light touch more dramatic.

6" Model 17.

Crazy good shooter. It has accounted for a few Jacks.

Ruger Super Single Six also ~1968

VQ Mamba X on a TK Kraken frame

When I go to my local guy to pick up an inbound rifle later this week, I'm going to take a closer look at a Single Six he took in on consignment from an estate. I couldn't do much more than glance at it when I was in there Saturday (busy one man show) but for $325 I'd be wasting money by not buying it as Hambo would say. Like I need another Ruger .22 of ANY flavor...;)

A spectacularly great K-22 that's been in the family since ~1968 and I've shot gigantic amounts through and bagged lots of squirrels with.

My “Open Gun”- it started life as as an iron-sighted, blued gun out of Clark’s back in 2008, and a recent Mid-Life Update got it the NP3 finish and the SRO, along with a few light touches. I hear Clark’s not in the game, as a company, the way that they used to be- a shame, cuz this has always been a nice pistol.

Does anyone have a 22 pistol or revolver with a conventional pistol scope on it? I saw a magazine article on a newsstand about squirrel hunting with such an outfit. I have a Ruger 22/45 with a Tac Sol upper and an Aimpoint but I want to leave it that way. I have a Mark II from 1986 that isn’t drilled and tapped nor threaded.
I’d love to come across a Single Six Hunter but don’t think I’ve ever seen one in a shop.
I’ve been looking online at the suitable pistols from Browning, S&W, and Ruger so far.

This one is an early Kart when he was still associated with the United States Arms Corp. It's serial#91. Its mounted to a Norinco M1911A! lower, Ro-Co stocks.
The bottom pistol upper is an older (2004) Marvel Precision Unit#1 non lock-back with aluminum brake, 1" Ultradot red dot, mounted to a 2014 Colt Combat Elite .45ACP lower, Ro-Co "The Master" stocks, Colt .22 Conversion Unit magazines. (shown with a 20 yard target)

Oh man, I can not get enough of those Kart conversions! I found mine in a state of disrepair at this crazy, exotic high end gun shop in northeast Arkansas. Serial No. 35, built off a Colt Ace slide, with an Essex frame. I’ve heard that the stipple job was done by Kart’s daughter. A couple of talented smiths brought it back to life, and taken apart, it looks like the Marvel unit’s daddy.

I've been searching on and off for these grips for 20 years: Nill Hammerli sporting grips. The current production grips have a checkering pattern that I don't like, so I had to find some old ones. These happened to be wrapped around an old International 208. This pistol has been around, and had the gunk inside to prove it. A good cleaning and a new recoil spring and it's almost as smooth as my 208s.

A Kevin Wilkins mount was the easy button for mounting a dot, and gives the ability to switch between the open sights and the dot, supposedly with no loss of zero. Between deer season, late fall yard maintenance, and snow, I've only got 100 rounds through it and haven't sighted the dot yet.:p
