red dot attachment for carbon rib

Hello everybody. I would like to know if anyone knows of a red dot optic attachment that can be mounted on an 828u rifle with carbon rib. Unfortunately I cannot find any attachments for this fragile carbon rib

I would try to contact Benelli and see if they have a solution. They would be the only people I would trust to tell me if the rib can support the extra stress and added weight of an optic.

Aimpoint makes one designed to mount on the vent rib, FWIW. Or at least they used to.

Yes, but the vent rib on his gun is carbon fiber and glued/epoxied to the barrel, not soldered on like most shotguns.

Not sure a rib mount will hold up.

I'd modify a Burris Speed Bead mount to fit.
