Very, very cool.

May I suggest a "vintage" Tyler T-Grip adapter (#3R) for that piece - with a bit of patience, they can be had on the Smith & Wesson "blue" forum for non-stupid prices.

I'd love to get one for this piece in the black/blue finish.

Edited my post to include the model number.
Happy to assist with sourcing one - expect to pay in the range of $50 to $80 for a correct vintage, which would be any version with the markings on the left side.

FYI/note/warning: the current product direct from Tyler has no markings and they take over a year+ to fulfill orders.

No problem paying a premium for this gun sir. And thank you!

Cool.

What kind of holster are you going to carry it with?

Not sure? Maybe a Bullit shoulder rig.

I need to look - I may have a classic 1970s era Rogers Kydex paddle new in bag. I just don’t know where it is…

Congrats! I’m envious, but not to the point of pining. 🤣

Sweet score! I always preferred the pachmayr adapter over the Tyler on K frames. They turn up on eBay occasionally.

That is a beautiful wheel-gun, congrats on the score.

If I remember it right, it's the same holster used by Clint Eastwood for a 2 1/2" 66 in "The Gauntlet".

Your choice would be perfectly fitting.

That’s a beauty. Thanks for posting pics. I vote for some Spegel checkered round to square butt stocks.

A Model 10 that begs to be carried and shot. Congratulations on this unique, very shootable K frame.

I'm always astonished at just how accurate 2" k frames are.

Yep. They are "The Snubby That Could".

The Tyler T Grip is the real deal original, but recently their availability has been not much better than pot luck. Try the secondary market, or these https://bkgrips.com/store/ which are an outstanding substitute.

I was watching that one just to see what it would sell for since I had never seen a Model 10 in that barrel length before. Glad you got it. It’s a good looking gun. It would definitely look good with the T-Grip.

In the U.S. looks like 780. 500 to the FBI and 280 to the Michigan State Police. Mine is an MSP gun.

I’ve heard that a run went to the RCMP but can’t confirm that.

Holy smokes, a longer ejection rod and a replaceable front sight?

They'd sell every single one they can make

I had hopes to grab that one when it was still at around $850 with a couple hours to go, and then it shot up like a rocket. Hopefully going to a good home!
