I have a good amount of time behind this blaster and I love it!

In stock form it eats 1oz@1180's to the 3" 1-1/4oz @ 1450.

It does the same with less recoil with my pk1custom set up in the video.

Can you leave the rounds in the magazine for an extended time and have reliable operation?

That is a function of hull construction, magazine spring pressure and mag "feed lips" (shell retention element) and ambient temperature!

You may see issues with any makers loaded mag on a long 90+ degree day. Think "time weighted average" for mags at elevated temps.

I have NOT tested long term mag storage, but offhand, I feel comfortable in saying that at room temperature reliability would not be compromised.

That said, I don't think >ANY< self loading shotgun (box mag or not!) is MORE reliable. While some are equal none are better.

I waited a year without detail striping my first Gen12 on the request of the company. I complied with a only couple of simple cleanings
and lubing between range time. I was rewarded with a running machine! Racked up 4100+ rounds over the course 3gun, Sporting Clays, 5-Stand clays and just trashing about on poppers and plate racks.

That year was up Feb 2022. I am now immersed in "customizing" this oh so fun, stupid fast, lead chucker!

Got questions? I'll do my best. Long time no talk. Patrick.

Do you have any experience with the short barrel versions?

Yes, the Gen12 short recoil system lends itself very well to short barrels. They run very well with even less recoil
than their longer brothers. Genesis has a FA demo lower that gets lots of giggles with a shorty on top.

Well...yea man. But just think -

You could have a shorty with a suppressor on the end. Because Texas.

That is a very popular set up among Gen12 users!
