400 rounds into the 2k challenge.

It came "in the white" to Blackfire (me) and was subsequently "treated" before sending to Cerakote. Brandon, aka Booty, then coated it in Graphite Black.

Here she is 400 rounds after coating, plus a bunch of testing at Wilson Combat:

Holster wear is minimal with this application, though the holster used was the Galco Royal Guard.

Note the perfect fitting of the lower lugs?

Big, wide funnel for 10mm ammo.

Love the 20lpi checkering and checkering under the trigger guard. Nice touch IMO.

One of my favorite 10mms. It has an unused 40S&W barrel for "lost brass" matches and cheap practice.

Flawless with Tripp mags to date.

Carry - Corbon 135g JHP (currently evaluating the Underwood load, but it looks too hot to me).

Practice - 155g L-TC over a medium load of Bullseye.

Please, call me Bill.

Very nice. How do you like that rear sight?

They are my favorite non-Novak sight. By far. I am disappointed in the FO sight (maybe I'm just spoiled by the gold dots on my other 1911s?). Not durability, but they are nothing like the FO sights on my hunting bows (I do realize they are much shorter, but still).

Thanks FredM. And thanks for your service.

Cheers!
