Has anyone here used the Centrifuge Holster Accessory Mount for a tourniquet?

My waist is on the smaller side and I would like to have little to nothing on my back, but have plenty of room left for what I do need. Mounting the tourniquet on the holster would free up some space.

Looks pretty slick.

I saw both ESU and CT uniformed officers wearing the same or similar devices when I was in NYC last week.

I also saw a set of CT uniformed officers attach a TQ to the font of a Safariland holster with what appeared to be a velcro "binding" the front of the gun holster to the rear of the TQ holster plus what looked to be a 2 inch wide velcro strap going the full circumference of the new "combo."

Admittedly not near as elegant a solution as the product you are contemplating.

Or even a bracket/strut like in this video. Thought I can't find the bracket on their site anymore, but seems you can buy it at the linked site. https://rdrgear.com/products/centrifuge-training-tq-strute-by-rdr-gear

Hey I put skate board tape on a 1911 front strap to get a better grip. I'm boring and not eloquent. :p

The site says it's only compatible with certain holsters, but I emailed them to see what the actual fitment situation is. It doesn't really make sense that it will M&P holster with light but not one without it.

I've used their accessory holster mount with a tourniquet for over a year with success (Safariland 6360 ALS/SLS and Eleven 10 RIGID tourniquet case). No issues whatsoever. The mounting solution gives a very clean and neat look. You can easily access the tourniquet with either hand. I also liked the fact it removed the tourniquet from my belt and away from my uniform shirts, which were wearing in the area where the tourniquet would rub against my shirts. I recently swapped out the accessory holster mount for their NCP Equipment Mount.

I use the version that pairs with the Blackbox Customs NCP2, but it's similar l. RDR Gear also makes a similar one.

Overall I like it, however I've noticed that sometimes I'll catch it on the steering wheel when I get out of the car.

I have used it on my patrol and swat rig since November. No issues, about 3-4 other dudes at my pd use it and I haven't heard them complain either. Would recommend 10/10

Every deputy in my county I've seen wearing a duty belt has had one of these. I'm unsure if they are Centrifuge, or RDR. I believe RDR was making them for Centrifuge originally but I'm not sure.

I picked up an RDR when they were first released. It required modifications to my holster to work and it just isn't very elegan.

The Accessory mount is a much better option as it simply slides between the holster and the mount. The only issue I've seen is that you need to loc-tite the fasteners used to secure the TQ holder to the bracket.

I've been using it for a couple years now - working part-time in the courts - along with a negative cant plate, both are first gen versions. I'm happy with them. No issues at work, on the range. Real limited mat time because of the 'Vid.

They are different products. I have only seen the centrifuge product on the streets, so I would assume that's what you're seeing

I have one on a rig I have set up for the rare occasion I'm shooting from a duty rig rather than concealment. That rig doesn't get used much, so I cannot speak to durability, but it seems like a solid product that makes good use of otherwise unused space while freeing up duty belt real estate.

I believe you're referring to the Condition Gray Sling Retainer Catch (https://www.grayfighter.com/product-page/src-gen-3), which can be used to secure a sling on a rifle as well as to attach a TQ to a holster. I've used one on a rifle for sling management, but have not tried it for TQ storage.

Wonder how those would hold up to getting bumped and knocked around on a duty holster. Especially getting in and out of a car,.

I tried it for a few months, didn't really have any issues, but I prefer the negative cant plate with tq mount. The tq feels more secure in an actual tq holder

I’m using an 11-10 case on a Safariland drop flex adapter right now, but that looks like a good setup for a regular UBL. I may have to get one for my secondary belt setup for when I’m not wearing an external carrier.
