Sweet, I'm in at 9pm. This lands on the only evening of my only travel this month. :)

I'm in at 8, but will probably stick around to watch Mario shoot.

I'll try to get crazy with the props or something entertaining for you. ;)

So it looks like I'll have to travel elsewhere tomorrow. Very disappointed. :( I'm about to call so they can open up my 9pm slot.

I love the KSTG format - it allows aiwb and the time commitment is one hour. I would pay double for a match like that in my area. As it stands, I'll have to hope that my travel and KSTG scheduling align for the next match... maybe a House of Horrors Halloween theme? Random skeletons popping out at you while you navigate a CoF?

Great match! I was really happy with my times, but not too pleased with the procedural.

As always, thanks for a good match.

I particularly liked the turning target inclusion, and the walled stage design. The solid edge was particularly appreciated to avoid the distractions encountered before where tarp material was disrupted by muzzle blast. (In one sense, somewhat good to train against... but nice to have one less distraction from the simulation versus actual cover.)

And as recently, the stage sequencing is a good thing to test oneself against. The progression of precision to speed, then back again is very useful in calibrating the balance. (And most illustrative when one fails to do so, as I did... but this is why we pursue the opportunity to learn. Of course, it is the mistakes that one remembers most... just like placing an extra and turns out un-needed shot on the first stage on one of the few targets with both an exposed chest and head.) The chance to make one's mistakes, and thereby hopefully not to repeat them, is always the best part of the night.

Todd moved it to this today because he didn't want to DQ me for having a gun that didn't make the box.

Thanks to everyone for hosting the KSTG match last night. Thanks also to NRA Range Staff for their great support, especially BonLyn and Rick.

I forgot about the Crowding Rule on Stage 4, so once reminded....I remembered for Stage 5....but then leaned forward....oh well...had fun and was overall happy with my hits.

Thanks again.....looking forward to the next KSTG match even with the Crowding rule.

Todd,

Thanks again for the great match! Next time, I'm bringing the 1911, or the Ruger LC9.

Don't thank me! I just pushed a broom last night. JConn pretty much ran the match and he, JV, and joshs did the lion's share of the setup and design.

how long before a match can you register?Do you have classifiers before each match or is it going to be on a set day?I'm thinking trying to catch on of the next matches,

how long before a match can you register?Registration generally opens up on the Monday that is 2 weeks before the match. So, the 15th for the next match.

Do you have classifiers before each match or is it going to be on a set day? We've had 2 matches with a classifier, so about every 5 or 6 matches. The last one was 2 matches ago.

There will not be a Classifier at the October match.

do you have to have to be classified to shoot?

do you have to have to be classified to shoot? No. You just mark your class, on the score sheet, as unclassified (U).

No. You just mark your class, on the score sheet, as Umazing. (U).
