It looks like there some well-thought out stuff on that gun. The delayed systems are new, proprietary, and less common, while the blowback stuff has greatly matured. I expect this will do well for them.

This PCC is very close to what Aaron Brekke has been building to spec for Max Leograndis, with a few different features. Max and Zach obviously know a bit about shooting a PCC.

I was surprised to see the ejection-port-side bolt lock-release on the Taran gun. In a fit bullheadedness, I had my gunsmith adapt a PDQ lever onto my RDB 9mm PCC, but I didn't think that serious competitors might want similar features.

One issue reported with the Brekke PCC is a build up on the comp. The Taran design (and I am not sure it is fair to call it that given all involved) has the outside of the comp threaded so you can fill an oil filter with solvent and thread it on this PCC to leave overnight and loosen the crud on the comp.

That is quite a feature! NFA is a hostile, obnoxious law, but as long as we must abide by it, I will admire the thoughtfulness of ideas like that.
FWIW, Max Leograndis shot a JP5 to win Nationals last year and not his Brekke build.
No idea what he is running this year.

He comments on his malfunction that almost cost him the match.
Because he didn’t clean his shit, lol.
TTI sells what will sell, IMO. Not because it’s best.
It’s the Glock 34 “Combat Master” of PCCs.
Take a popular, mainstream vehicle… and tart it up.
I’m sure it’s not trash. But it’s more flash for cash….

As an FYI, I have my TTI comp on my MPX mounted with a silicone O-ring (got the idea from the 22LR comps from Steel Challenge builders).
So it removes easily by hand to soak carbon off but doesn’t rotate or move when shooting.

Looks like his is part of the barrel so it's 16 in overall.

Oy vey.
Some comments in this thread are quite precious.
Three of these Taran PCCs arrived yesterday, for friends of mine. They also have MPX, Brekke and others PCCs to compare to the Taran. The Taran seems a half pound heavier than the Brekke. They only had a chance to zero them but not enough shooting to have formed opinions.
