I have both guns. For my skill level which is now approaching C class for Carry Optics, would the smaller gun offer any advantages ?
To me shooting at a static range it seems easier to track the dot with the shorter slide/barrel of the xcompact. Also the xcompact has a smaller grip which lets me get a better grip on the gun.
Also drawing the gun is noticeably faster due to shorter slide/barrel being able to clear the holster faster.
Long range shots I believe the advantage to the P320 max. Romeo 3 max is much sharper than my DPP on my xcompact.
I was looking forward to putting the 320 SPECTRE comp grip on my 320 max, but the gun hasn’t showed up to my LGS yet.
