I'll quote myself from a year and a half ago:

Think they'll ever make a PSD "compact"? A PSDc, if you will.

Even though it looks gigantic, I don't think it's really any bigger than a USP or a G17. Still--a more compact PSD would be... really cool. I'm not sure how they'd manage to scale down that counterweight system under the muzzle. I'm guessing the 7.5 round is sort of pushing limits of handgun territory as it is. Maybe they do the compact version in 10mm? Maybe it could use a smaller counterweight/spring, shorter barrel, grip, etc.

Yes, Matt. They will make a PSD compact:

That's on my list next to the Ferrari. Not sure which to buy first. Maybe a yacht instead! Choices choices

The other day at work I was saying if I won the lottery(Powerball is at $90 million) I could spend it all in a day. This gun and enough ammunition would help me spend my winnings. :)

It’s like $1500 - $1600. At least the full-size PSD is. That’ll barely buy you a Dan Wesson these days.

14 rounds of 2000fps projectiles in a Glock 19(ish)-sized package just seems kinda neat. Plus, it’s hammer fired and it looks like the standard-issue sidearm of the colonial space marines from Aliens.

That’s the Field Pistol—it’s all steel and costs as much as a used Volkswagen.

The PSDs are polymer framed use the same basic setup with the counterweight system, etc. but cost a fourth the price. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/925841297

Well… Attractive hand model, so to speak…

Loss of 150fps on the shorter barrel. That will be flash bang dispenser.

There is a fair chance I buy one.

For an exotic gun that shoots exotic rounds and appears to be very well made... $1600 doesn't seem insane, to me.

The fact it can also run other commonly available cartridges is also a big plus. I'd love to buy one (or more) eventually.

Good point. Cool that it shoots 10mm—seems like it would make a good platform for that.
