Colt 1911-22 and P-22 today. The P 22 ran 50 rounds of CCI Velocitor with no trouble.

The Gold Cup had a case separate. If anyone knows how to get the other 1/2 out of the chamber I'd love to know.

First, take the gun apart if you can. Stick the barrel in a padded vise (use cardboard or pieces of leather in the jaws as a cheap method).

Take a properly sized wooden dowel (like a .19) or a similar size nylon rod, carefully enter from the muzzle end, and pound it out with a hammer.

That's the cheapest/least invasive way of doing it. Just make sure not to hit the barrel itself with a hammer and damage it.

There are other methods, but they are more risky. Try the dowel thing first.

Or, use stiff bore brush from the chamber end. Push it in, pull it out. Maybe give it a little twirl. Sometimes the bristles will catch the case and pull it out.
