Gonna be in San Antonio next week on business, but I'm going to have a day to myself. Any suggestions for cool things to do, aside from the obvious (Alamo and Riverwalk)?

I haven't been in awhile but it has always been good.

If you want to shoot while your here our new gun club range is opening on the 29th after two months of delays and is a set up very similar to NRA. Mo-fri 9-8 range hours. Nonmembers welcome not sure on fees though.

Riverwalk dinning :

My favorite is Boudro's

I would recommend,
The seared scallops, followed by the fresh gaucamole, then finish with the blackened prime rib. If your in the mood for a cocktail, they serve a excellent Mojito.

If you have a chance hit up the Menger Hotel bar and have a drink where Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders stayed and drank....might see a ghost or too. It is after all one of the most famous haunted hotels and right next to the Alamo. There is also a cigar shop there if you choose to partake.
