Chestburster!

Seriously, though, congrats. Just wait a few years. As good as it gets now, it gets even better when they're old enough to communicate and interact with you.

Yes it sure is. Great pic.

You will not believe how fast the time will pass when the day comes they move out into their own independent lives.

Congrats. Unlike guns, where talking about is almost as good as the real thing (everyone's with me on that, right? ;)) words can't get near where fatherhood lives.

Good work!

Great photo BD!

As has already been said, savor every moment. Speaking as one who just sent the last of three off to college last week, and whose grandson just had his 7th birthday Saturday, I can tell you that the time flies by in the blink of an eye.

Congrats to you an yours on the new addition to your family!

For their 18th birthday, may I suggest luggage as a gift?

I am kidding. Congratulations on tackling the toughest job in the world - being a good parent.

Awesome it is, indeed. I even cherish the bad moments!

Turns out the bad moments are good for you. For example, when the little one crawls into the big bed and you wake up covered in someone else's pee, I understand it's actually a pretty effective bear repellent. (c.f. thehonesttoddler.com/big-bed)

And now I'm going to change the theme of his room from the 'cute' animal type theme into something more fun since he can appreciate it. I just set up his car bed this weekend and he freakin loves it!

+ 1 on the time flying. I remember holding my daughter like that just a few months ago it seems, yet today we dropped her off for her first day of kindergarten. There was lots of crying and not wanting to leave, but that was just me and the wife, daughter's been looking forward to it for weeks ;)
