I am looking for a single magazine carrier for a Sig P365. Ideally I would like something that takes up minimal space on the belt, so a tension screw is okay (and preferred), but I do not want "wings" on either side of the carrier. I typically wear two of these on my belt, which I find can work better than one double magazine pouch.
I would also like something that uses a belt loop rather than a belt clip. I would be happy with a mini-Tec Lock, but I had a clip magazine pouch fall off my belt twice today, and at least one other time.
Thanks in advance!

I don't have a 365, but I've used these (https://www.jmcustomkydex.com/p/Q-SPMP-V3-Sig.html) with the concealment clip for my PX4s and M&P45s for carry and classes and they've stayed on my belt with no issues.

Thank you, but I do need something with a belt loop, not a belt clip.
Does anyone make anything similar to the former Custom Carry Concepts Basic Magazine Pouch?

Kytex. I'm actually using the carriers for my old P228, and they work like a champeen with 365 mags

I prefer Comp Tac mag pouches with the Tech Lock. However, a few years ago CT came up with their own version of the Tech Lock called the PLM. I dislike the PLM as it is a little taller so I end up replacing the PLMs with my own Tech Locks. Its expensive, but I want what i want.
Blade Tech has just come out with a new mag pouch which still has the Tech Lock but allows you to cant the mag. I have a couple coming for my HKs and my CZs, so will report back on them.

Thank you. Do you know if the Comp-Tac pouches can work with a mini-Tec-Lock, or do they require the full size version?

I don't think they are compatible. I also didn't know BT had discontinued the mini Tech-lok.

I still use my Kytex pouches, but with the understanding that they will break. Kydex is not the wonder material people make it out to be, or rather, the wonder is in that people can make top notch products in their kitchen. Injection molded will be superior, but the Kytex ones are cheap and I can get by with a $100 order for years. Mark them, track them, and just keep on keepin' on.
That said... The JM pouch linked above might be the better way to roll now that we've got Comp-Tac in the mix. I'd rather have Tony's smaller IM clip over the mini Teklok, and his will be a smidge narrower.

What belt are you using, that clip mag pouches are slipping off? Mine are "slippery" on the thinnest belts I own, specifically on the new Tenicor belt, but on a regular leather "gun" belt or my Volund, they clip on and don't even move unless I make them move.
I have broken one (1) kytex pouch in the 10-15 years of HARD use I've given them (didn't actually break, but the body of the pouch caught on a door frame when I was going through it at full speed, and it bent out at 90 degrees - subsequently cracked when I bent it back into shape) - and I use Kytex for literally every semiauto pistol I own/carry.
Just one old fat retired guy's experience, but it's been mirrored by lots of other guys I know.

My belt is a 1.25” wide, double thickness belt made by The Beltman. The pouch that slipped off uses a plastic clip with plenty of room to accommodate the double thickness belt and a large hook on the end to prevent what happened. I have no idea how it slipped off, but once it did, the plastic was irreparably bent. I always thread my belt through the clip as though it was a loop to prevent weakening the clip.

I may need to expand my search to other materials and/or double magazine pouches. I ordered a Blade-Tech double pouch to serve a least as a temporary solution. Given the all too common use of belt clips for single magazine pouches, it may be more than temporary. I have also previously used a Kramer double magazine pouch, but found the tension screw to be difficult to tighten. Despite that issue, the Kramer may end up being my longer term solution.

My favorite is the JMCK with the fixed belt loop but I don’t believe it’s currently offered. His clip on version works well too.

Another user in favor of Kytex. I have LOTS of them for several different pistols/magazines. They have been used hard for EDC and competition for several years, and never had a failure. Customer service is outstanding and delivery time very good.
I've used their mag carriers for 1911's, 2011's, Glock G26, G36, G19, G17, G34, G20, and G43's, Sig P365's, Springfield XDm's, CZ 75's, CZ 97's, CZ RAMI's, and CZ PCR's. In 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" widths. Zero issues.

Those Kytex ones look almost as minimal (in a most excellent way) as the legacy Custom Carry Concepts Mag Pouches.
I will likely order a few to back up the CCC ones I have as they are essentially unobtanium at this point. I am on my back up set of the CCC ones after I broke a couple after 10 years of frequent use both in the CCW and field training realms.
Kydex is fast, often inexpensive, readily available and is great, right up and until it breaks/cracks etc.
I just picked up a 1.5 inch Kramer Mag pouch in horsehide. A bit bulkier that the CCC/Kytex offerings but with its sewn on loop and leather construction, likely to last past my lifetime.

In that case, take a look at the Blue Force Gear single pistol belt pouch. (https://www.blueforcegear.com/single-pistol-belt-pouch.html)

Same experience. I have used Kytex pouches for years and have yet to have one break. Minimal dimensions, great retension, easy on/off, durable. Have used for 1911's, different Springfields, different HKs, different Walthers, S&W.

Do you have 1.25" clips on your pouch? I ask because even the large hooks can slip over the belt if allowed to rotate very much. A 1.5" clip would be susceptible to this on a 1.25 " belt. Just a thought.

I have lots of experience with clipped pouches, like Kytex, coming off the belt when using a leather belt.
I've had no such issues with nylon belts, I'm assuming because the bottom isn't rounded/beveled like leather which encourages the clip to work itself off.
I have a Dale Fricke Gideon Elite single, that while it has a clip, I'd be hard pressed to pull if off the belt, even if trying. I always thread it on and off the belt.
https://dalefrickeholsters.com/product/magpouch-vertical/
I also have an Aholster pouch, also with a clip, but the hook on the loop is quite pronounced. I can put it on the belt, but taking it off is a little more involved. I also usually thread the belt through this pouch.

I haven't used their pouches, but Garrett Industries offers loops for their pouches. You can get singles, through triples.

I have been in touch with the maker of the pouch, who was very responsive when I contacted him. He also believes this is what happened.
At this point I have used 1.25” belts for over 2 decades, and have a significant amount of gear that is specific to 1.25” belts. So, I need to work out a solution that works for that belt width.

What about some moleskin or grip tape on the inside edge that would contact the back of your belt?

Interesting idea, and I do find moleskin useful in other holster applications. The tip of the hook contacts the Kydex of the pouch even when on my belt, but it does not reach the back of my belt. It is currently a 1.5” clip on a 1.25” belt, but zi do not think it would contact the back of a 1.5” belt.

Tony at JM used to make a V2 mag pouch with a fixed loop....might hit him up to see if it is still an option. Here are some I had him reverse for between the belt and pants:

I've broken two Kytex pouches...one mag pouch and one light pouch, by catching them on an armrest whilst settling into a patio armchair.

I just ordered a Kramer horsehide double magazine pouch.
This is very different from my original request for information at the beginning of this thread. I had used the Kramer pouches for years, but they are expensive, potentially limiting on belt placement with the belt tunnel that takes up the entire width of the pouch, subject to perspiration as with any leather, and not always easy to adjust the tension screw. However, they are more compact than almost any other solution I have seen, conceal very well, and have always held my magazines securely.
My positive experience with the Custom Carry Concepts Basic Magazine Pouch led me to hope that a similar solution could be found, but it does not appear to exist. I really liked the compactness, generally good security, and the ability to resist sweat. However, they did release one of my Glock 26 magazines on one occasion.
Thank you to all who provided suggestions and feedback on their own experiences.

The Kramer is one of the most compact double pouches out there. And the horsehide will be more resistant to perspiration that cowhide.
Two Kramer single pouches would likely get you the results you were originally looking for. That they can be ordered with your preferred 1.25" belt slot is a plus.

I know the OP has ordered something else already, but for those who like the Kytex pouches, check out the Ready Tactical versions. I’ve found the to be a little more secure on the belt because the little wings overlap the body of the pouch better. The Kydex is also thicker than in the Kytex pouches. If I hadn’t transitioned to AIWB spare mag carry and I was still generally carrying my magazines on the hip, I would be wearing 1-2 of these pouches. SKD Tactical stocks them. I haven’t looked at other vendors.

That’s what I use when I want to carry two magazines frequently. I have one left from when I carried my previously issued 5906 off duty ( in a horsehide Kramer IWB). I have a more recent one for my M&P.

As TGS noted, that would probably be more due to the belt you use than its tightness. Personally I have found Kytex pouches to be very reliable, but my girlfriend has managed to pull pouches off her belt while trying to do reloads - and this is with the belt supporting a steel frame 1911 and multiple spare magazines. The difference is that I use nylon belts, my girlfriend uses a leather belt.
And how in hell have some of you managed to never break a Kytex magazine pouch?! I've broken, with my sedentary lifestyle and low amount of wear, um... At least three? One of which was probably my fault though, I bent the clip excessively putting it on and taking it off my belt. Still though, they're not that durable pouches. Never had one fail catastrophically though, rather I discover when inspecting a pouch that whoops, this one is developing a crack or that one is becoming bent out of shape. They're affordable, compact, secure, and all around good quality pouches though that work well with my belt, so I keep using them - I just acknowledge that I need to replace a pouch or two every couple of years. Y'all are planting the idea of a more "bomb proof" magazine pouch in my head though. :p
