Since I’ve gotten multiple requests I did a quick video on the 642 I had done up by The Action Works nearly two decades ago. Anyone who religiously read the gun rags of the 1990’s should be able to identify who influenced me.

Didn’t watch it yet - wife was asleep when I clicked through earlier.

ETA: yes, you did. I am now tempted to stipple the back strap of my oldest J, a 642-2 that appears to be of similar vintage.

Very nice. So who could do a front sight like that today? I have a 642-1, and would love an improved sight on it.

I hear a fair amount of Mas influence in there, myself.

That is nice! Wish SW would wake the - - - k up! Improve the guns take the dumb ass lock off, improve triggers, improvemthe sights. How about a 6 round J frame or 7 round .32 J frame! And where is an updated M12!! Try some cool concepts while they are at it like a SW version of the Taurus View etc.
