One of the things I love about my usp is how refined it feels when fired. Compared to other guns I have shot, my usp recoils very nicely with very little flip and doesn't feel snappy at all. Has anyone noticed a difference with the HK45 and their nylon buffers as oppesed to the dual springs run by the older models?

Was it a reliability issue to switch to the buffer?

Even though HK calls the buffer ring a "recoil reduction system" I think it's mostly just meant to extend the life of the recoil spring. I have no clue why they didn't include the dual recoil spring in the HK45, but personally I've never noticed much of a difference in recoil between the full size USP's and the HK45/P-series anyways.
