I dont think there is a “typical” police loadout in movies. There are many many, (hundreds) of small business, (One owner by himself or one owner with several employees) holster manufactures in the United States. It will be almost impossible to look at a holster and know who made it unless the holster has Identifying information on the holster. Most holster makers do not have the companies name on the holster.
Looks a lot like DeSantis A01
https://www.copsplus.com/desantis-a01-leather-double-magazine-pouch
But it could be a lot of different manufacturers. If you Google leather magazine pouch you'll find quite a few different manufacturers that look similar.

I can sort of identify the mag pouch, It looks like the Galco DMC (https://www.galcogunleather.com/dmc-double-mag-carrier_8_450_1083.html), or maybe the De Santis Double magazine Pouch (https://www.desantisholster.com/double-magazine-pouch/). As I have the former, I can tell you that, while it is an ok pouch, I wouldn't use it for anything other than the range.
The photos don't show the holster well enough to tell; it could be anything and frankly doesn't look like a high quality holster (which would be typical for movies).
If you are interested in a quality "loadout" for a 1911, similar to what you see in the movie, many of us here can point you to much better holster and pouch makers, if you are interested :-)

In general, plainclothes law enforcement officers (to include detectives) in the United States will have varied pieces of gear even within the same agency. While the department might buy and issue a particular holster or mag pouch as part of a contract purchase order, plainclothes law enforcement officers usually purchase something of their own preference. In addition, the issued piece of gear will likely change over time as the contract prices and options change...so personnel who were issued gear from various years will likely have been issued different pieces of gear, anyway. On top of all that, each individual is likely to have different pieces of gear for what they're wearing/what they're doing that particular day, such as IWB holsters, OWB concealment holsters, and OWB retention holsters.
This means that when movies portray detectives, virtually anything is "correct" because everyone is using something different anyway.
With that said, you might find more enthusiastic responses if you ask around on airsoft or mil-sim forums that are concerned with replicating kits, since that seems to be your interest.
I understand that "simulation" games or cosplay is a pretty big hobby to certain groups of people, but that's not really the focus of this forum.

TGS has probably the best advice for you.
For your inspiration, pleasure and what could perhaps fit your desires, go to: Share your Fancy Leather Gear (https://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?49530-Share-your-Fancy-Leather-Gear)
I'll just add that, while movies can be incredible fun, they do not serve as examples of what do, what to carry and how; our standards here are much higher and if you want to spend some time reading this forum, you will learn a lot and have fun. :-)

LAPD Detectives do not have a standardized loadout.
Most wear whatever soft leather holster they want and whatever mag pouches they want if they feel the need to carry extra magazines.
Their detectives are also not required to wear internal vests and usually have an external vest on hand for warrants/checks etc.
I don't recall the maker of the external vests but it is a local manufacturer and the pouches are sewn in, it does not have molle.

There's actually a True Detective Season Two discussion thread (https://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?16405-True-Detective-Season-2).
Considering the P35 is back in style thanks to Springfield Armory, perhaps it needs a revisit? The featured pistols are some of pistol-forum's greatest hits...

I seem to recall Rachel McAdams executing a pretty competent reload on the move during one of the shootouts. That said, anyone trying to replicate Bezzerides' load out is going to need all the knives.

Velcoro's holster looks to be a generic paddle holster but there's no way to tell who the maker is from the photo. Bezzerides' holster looks like the black version of the PLE PADDLE HOLSTER (https://www.galcogunleather.com/ple-paddle-holster_8_5_1236.html) from Galco

There is no best holster for a 1911; there are many excellent ones and, off the top of my head, here are two of the best leather holster makers: Kramer Leather (https://www.kramerleather.com/) and Milt Sparks Holsters (https://www.miltsparks.com/).
And one of the best Kydex holster maker: JM Custom Kydex. (https://www.jmcustomkydex.com/)
People here use any of those three with great success (for 1911s or other pistols). Look at this thread on the forum for high quality holsters: Share your Fancy Leather Gear (https://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?49530-Share-your-Fancy-Leather-Gear)
As I do not cosplay and I am not a police officer, I have no idea what a police detective would carry (from LAPD or any other agency). As a civilian, my duties can be much different than those of a police officer and thus what I carry and how I carry it, is likely not going to be the same.
P.S. LAPD detectives, at least nowadays, carry whatever gun they are issued (I'm not sure which it is) but I doubt the 1911 is on the authorized list today.

The Holster the first two photos is the Bianchi model 83 Carrylok paddle holster which is out of production.
You can see the lever of the locking mechanism at the rear of the holster in the photos.

True, but maybe he can gain extra knowledge; at the very least it would make for better cosplay.
It's an offer I think is worth making.
