Which is why I cut those damn things off of every single rain coat, windbreaker, and vest I own.

The next time some idiot tells you that "all youse gots ta do is keep yer booger hook off the bang switch!" show him these photos.

The very first class I took with InSights Training Center up here in WA said much the same thing - cut that shit off your jackets.

I cringe every time I see those drawstring jackets and concealed pistols. Thanks for the pics!

Much less serious, but, they will also take your clip style knives right out of your pockets. My adjusters went away a long time ago.

Many sage and learned people on the internet have told me that this doesn't happen. So I shall disbelieve you, sir, and will go back to pursuing the other wonderful treasures I've learned from people on the internet like how to get a degree in my pajamas, how to become insanely wealthy with minutes a day on a home internet business, and the four simple words that will make any woman instantly want to sleep with me.

I do hope Janet Reno likes Barry White.

This is one of the reasons I look at the gun as I holster it. I know that's controversial in some circles, but to me, holstering is something you do when the situation is over anyways so I'd rather be safer than super tactical in that situation.

There's nothing particularly high speed about shooting yourself...and no entanglement problem gets better when you add a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

I've had a less serious but not good problem practicing the AIWB draw from under a pullover hoodie. One of the hood draw strings was trapped between SH and WH thumb drumsticks as my hands came together and as I headed to full extension I had the split second to see that draw string stretch - then let go and snap me right in the dominant eye. I cut them short and knotted the ends.
