My first Browning Hi-Power and a HK 91 to name a couple. I had to do a major gun sell when I went back to school. :(

The only one I'd kind of like to have back is a SIG P226R. It wasn't special and could easily be replaced with a new one ..... BUT mine ran well and when I bought it I got a really fair price on the gun with 3 mags and NS.

I resent the implication that the gun that reigns supreme in USPSA revolver division is "useless". :D

I sold a Beretta 92 Elite II with 5 mags, and I REALLY regret that sale.

Not too many, I'm glad to say:
-Sig 229 9mm. Too big for CCW, or so I though. Sold it and bought a Glock 27 (mistake).

-S&W Model 15 4". Needed money, but it now has a good home.

-Baby Browning .25acp. Yes, at one time I had two of them, and carried both. However, traded the good looking one for a Kel-tec PF9 (mistake).

-CZ-75... maybe not. It worked for me, but who knows for how long?

I didn't sell it, but I should have bought it rather than return it to SIG when I got the boot...

Your LTT 92G Compact was a pretty slick pistol too.

Thanks (http://www.piratesinfo.com/) for reminding me.

I still have LTT-1, though!

Honestly, your compact was a near perfect carry gun. If ever there was a formula Beretta should resurrect...

Sold 5 firearms over last two years (S&W 686, Mark 1* BHP, Sig 229R, Colt Match Target, and Rainer Arms custom build) and no regrets at all. I plan to probably sell more. I have to many F'in guns and only really shoot 1 of each type pistol/rifle/shotgun. I've used the money to reinvest in getting better at shooting the guns I actually use so that probably helps keep the sting away.

I let a colt 1991a1 go for a song to a guy at a gun show. It was part of my conversion to Glock, and it's probably a god thing I'm not still trying to tinker with the 1911, but it would be a nice thing to have in the safe, or to give to my dad or something...

I sold a S&W 629 Classic Hunter in the mid '90's for some reason. I don't remember why now.

Wish I still had it. :(

My first pistol, a HK USP 9. Nothing special, but I kind of regret getting rid of it being it was my first.

I traded a older Les Baer Thunder Ranch 1911 because I finally let the internet convince me it was "too tight." Mind you it had been through multiple classes and over 13k rds without a single malfunction. Not exaggerating. Damn thing ran like a champ, must have had the new guy at Baer build it who wanted to impress the boss. It was the first 1911 I ever owned and I bought it because of the whole Thunder Ranch thing. Either way, after close to five years of faithful service, I finally fell victim to bad internet advise and traded it off several years ago. I have missed that gun a lot since then. It just felt "right."

I've been down that road. Over the past couple years I've downsized from 8 separate guns of 6 different calibers to 2 of the exact same pistol (one primary, one backup). Believe it or not, I'm much happier, and have a lot more money for ammo and training. It's like the Zen of Gun path or something.

I've sold and traded a few over the years but the one that sticks out in my mind is a S/A MC Operator 1911. That pistol was smooth, shot great, no issues, and I got it cheap. I'm not really a 1911 guy but it was a solid pistol and I regret letting it go.

HK45--it whapped my trigger finger during recoil in spite of having the trouth in the bottom of the trigger guard smoothed down, but the gun was solid and beyond durable.

A preban Galil AR in .308--couldn't find spare parts in the early 1990s and I thought the shot groups were stretching from what they were severalfold and thought the gun was loosing accuracy. It turned out I needed to start shooting with glasses and the gun was fine.

Just remembered...S&W 66, and now I find myself wanting a good .357 that I don't feel the need to baby like my Python. Though I think I might have used the money to by a G19, so there's that.

I literally have no idea how many guns I've sold, but the number is probably in the low three digits.

As the years have gone by, I have regretted fewer and fewer of them. (I used to get all broke up about, say, the Beretta AR70 or the SP89, but being honest with myself, if the good fairy dropped them back in my lap, I'd just wind up selling 'em again three or four months down the road.)

The only one that I really still regret is a nicely refinished Mauser C96 "Broomhandle". It was pretty, but largely worthless in a collectible sense, and so I didn't mind shooting the bejeezus out of it with the cheap Norinco 7.62x25 you could still get back then. Any decent shooter-grade Broomhandle these days is crowding too close to four figures to want to put much mileage on it...

There was also a pre-'73 Colt Detective Special, in 95% condition with a set of Herrett's stocks, the factory Colt bolt-on hammer shroud, and the sweetest DA trigger. Even though its cylinder turns the wrong way, I sometimes wish I still had it, but I'd probably wind up trading it off again if I did.

Right about now I'm wishing I would have held on to my VG condition Gen2 G19. I let it go because I had too many G19s. Can you believe that? Too many G19s .... is that even possible?
